Thanks to the generous women of Impact 100, our learning lab construction is underway!
Our learning labs will allow us to provide extensive training to our members in the areas of plumbing, electrical, roofing/siding, drywall, and HVAC.
Here at YCC, we have rolling enrollment, and depending on when our members enroll at YCC, they may not have the opportunity to receive on-the-job training in certain areas during the construction process. The creation of our learning labs will give our members the opportunity to gain comprehensive construction training no matter when they arrive at YCC!
Events like Rockegan, our spring concert, featuring Waukegan’s own Ivy Ford, help fund the work we are doing in the lives of our members.
