While Operation Clean Sweep is nearing its’ close in early October, there’s still plenty of work to do in various wards around the city of Waukegan. This past Friday, our YouthBuild members assisted Public Works staff in Ald. Roudell Kirkwood’s 4th Ward.
Members helped by picking up trash, weed whacking, and clearing out overgrown weeds along various alleyways, and Ald. Kirkwood provided lunch for the entire crew. Many thanks to the alderman and Public Works supervisor Javier for the opportunity to help!
